Nothing characterizes the graphic arts of late 19th century Europe like the colorful posters of the Belle Epoque period
in France. Posters came to be considered an artform by many. Publishers siezed on this interest and created smaller
collectable lithographs of the most popular posters for those who could not afford a full-sized poster, or who lived in smaller
quarters without space for one.
