Titled Self Portrait, this work was published in 1903 by Paul Cassirer, a German publisher and promoter of Impressionist and
post-Impressionist art. This is the second edition after the original, larger sized 1896/7 lithograph.
The
work shows Paul Cezanne at his easel and was most likely created while he was looking into a mirror. The work is unsigned
and unnumbered, and is in good condition. From an edition of 200+ proofs in grey (aside from the 300+ proofs in black). Reference:
