Original lithograph in colors on white wove paper by Marc Chagall. Titled Self Portrait - Frontespiece, the lithograph shows a profile of the artist in blue and red, along with other images from Chagall's dream world genre. This lithograph was published in Chagall, Lithgraph I by Andre Sauret, Monte Carlo in 1960. This is from the unsigned edition of several thousand. (There was also a signed and numbered limited edition. It was printed at the same time and from the same stones as the signed and numbered version.) This piece is number 282 in Mourlot's Catalogue Raisonne of Chagall's Lithographs.
