lithograph in colors on white wove paper by Marc Chagall. Titled Self Portrait - Frontespiece, the lithograph shows a profile
of the artist in blue and red, along with other images from Chagall's dream world genre. This lithograph was published
in Chagall, Lithgraph I by Andre Sauret, Monte Carlo in 1960. This is from the unsigned edition of several thousand.
(There was also a signed and numbered limited edition. It was printed at the same time and from the same stones as the signed
and numbered version.) This piece is number 282 in Mourlot's Catalogue Raisonne of Chagall's Lithographs.

This lithograph is in excellent condition,
with rich colors. It is framed in a antiqued gold frame and matted in creme linen matting, with a gold fillet. All
materials are acid-free. It is covered with UV-resistant acrylic to protect the fresh colors. Not previously framed. Works
such as this sell in high-end galleries for $4,000-6,000.
