Transcribed from Cheret's full-size 1891 poster of the same title by artisans at Atelier Chéret and issued as a plate in the series Les Affiche Illustrees. Published by Jules Chéret and printed at Impremiere Chaix (Atelier Chéret), Paris. Scaramouche = skirmish.

Only 1,050 copies of this image was produced. Many have not survived. This piece was examined apart from the frame and found to be in excellent condition.

Wood frame with antique bronze highlights.  Finished with acid-free indigo matte and covered by UV-resistant acrylic (OP3 AR).  Framed size is:  19-1/4 inches H x 16-1/4 inches W (48.9 cm x 41.3 cm).
