Original etching in black ink on wove paper by Impressionist era artist Jean-Louis Forain. Signed in the plate lower right, this etching shows two fashionable women on their way to a popular dance hall named Bal Bullier. From Forain’s earlier period, the plate was created in ca 1880-90.
