Original wood engraving print in black ink on creme wove paper by French Impressionist
Edouard Manet. Signed in the plate "Manet" by the artist lower right. Also signed by the carver "A Prunaire
sc" lower left. Titled La Parisienne, the print shows an elegant Parisian woman (Mme. Nina de Callais) looking
at the viewer. The wood engraving was created in 1874; this impression was published in 1910 by Theodore Duret in
Manet and the French Impressionists. This piece is number 221 in Jean Harris's Catalogue Raisonne
of Manet's prints.

a strong impression. It is framed in a antiqued gold and black frame and matted in linen, with a gold filet. It is covered
with UV-resistant acrylic to protect the fresh colors. Not previously framed.
