The image was published in the monthly series Les Programmes Illustrees
des Theatres et des Cafe-Concerts, a collection of artwork original executed for theater programs and cafe concerts.
The series was published in 1987 by Ernest Maindron; this plate was printed by Imprimerie F. Appel in Paris. The Folies Bergere
was a popular revue theater at the edge of Montmartre and was famous for its decorations, costumes, and cabaret performances. - Folies Bergère, from the monthly series Les Programmes

Only 1,025 copies of this image was produced. Many have not survived; many others have not survived
in good condition. This piece was examined apart from the frame and found to be in excellent condition. Conservation framed in gold-leaf frame and finished with off-white linen matting and matching gold filet. All materials
are acid free. Set behind a UV-resistant acrylic cover. Framed
size is 17-1/2 inches H x 14-1/2 inches W (44 cm x 37 cm). Price
