This Piece Has Been Sold! Looking
at the Moon This is an original Japanese
woodblock print in colors on paper by Mizuno Toshikata. This print is titled Looking at the Moon from the series 36 Immortal
Beauties. The work is double-matted and framed in a rustic bamboo-style frame, with the colors
of the mattes complimenting the colors in the image.
Colors and
condition are good, with small tear on top right margin, completely outside image. Remains of former tape mounting upper
left and upper right, also completely outside the image. Paper has toned with age as is typical for pieces from this period.
