Original etching and aquatint in brown ink on creme laid paper by French Impressionist Edouard Manet. Third state. Titled La Convalescente, the print shows a person recovering from a malady.

The etching was created in 1876-8; this impression was published in 1984 by Edmond Bazire. This piece is number 85 in Jean Harris’s Catalogue Raisonne of Manet’s prints, pp. 221-224.
